Additional Variables

These variables may apply to certain installation locations, and should be examined on a case-by-case basis to determine budget impact and design/placement,
Footing design, Site plan - sidewalk, parking, grass modication etc.

  • Existing door configuration of dealership is obstructed by standard portal options
  • Local signage codes (height or area limitations)
  • Local building codes (existing roof is already at maximum allowable height, or building is already at edge of allowable setbacks)
  • Existing building column footings extend into portal footing area
  • Building overhang or canopy, narrow sidewalk, raised building platform, or other obstruction prevents standard portal placement 4’ from building
  • Building entrance stairs or ramp prevent standard portal placement 4’ from building
  • Arch impedes flow of foot traffic into building
  • Arch affects ADA access
  • Arch placement and/or subsequent site modifications result in loss of parking spaces or display area
